8/30/2021 1 Comment Perimenopause 101![]() Most people have heard of menopause, but far fewer are familiar with the term perimenopause. Many of the symptoms associated with menopause actually first present and take center stage during the time before menopause, which is is defined as going 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. Perimenopause typically precedes actual menopause by a minimum of several years. And it’s much more than hot flashes. Perimenopause is a real thing! I have seen three doctors who said it's a new, madeup term!!! Where can i find some one to help me?!!
